Citing “emerging evidence,” prosecutors have dropped murder charges against a woman and her 14-year-old son less than a week after the woman was accused of ordering her son to kill a man who had punched her at a South Side hot dog stand.

The perp just got done wailing on the 14-year-old’s mother, a definite flurry of bell-ringers to the Head.

Finishing off an uttered gang banger threat of future retribution might have occurred.

I dunno, and I’m not faulting the 14 year old for stopping the threat.

Besides wasn’t the police chief of Chicago accused and reviled for suggesting citizens arming themselves to thwart attacks?

I don’t even know if this was in Chicago but it was close enough.
