The poll is probably right but we don’t want an SC that rules by what is popular at the moment. Ideally they should be immune to that. The rule of law is all that should matter
The Supreme Court should issue opinions based on the rule of law, and according to constitutional principles. Public opinion should not factor into it.
How often does the Court issue opinions according to constitutional principles? Sometimes it appears that the liberals on the court, issue opinions which the liberals approve of, regardless of the law or constitutional principles.
