I am leery of conspiracy theories in general but in this case I always believed Trump was being surveilled. Why? Because the leaks during his admin seemed to not point to any one person or persons but rather electronic surveillance.
The left just seems to know way too much about him and he has been surveilled like a spy.

I think many times the “persons family with his thinking” and “anonymous sources” were actually information obtained by the FBI by spying and given to the NYT and WaPo for publication.
