> Donald Trump is the flip side of the Hillary Clinton coin. Bitter, entitled and long past his used by date. <
I must reluctantly agree. But he’s also the candidate who can best put MAGA back in place.
And that’s what’s so incredibly frustrating here. Trump is pushing supporters away, for no good reason. I’m seeing this on Free Republic. And I’m seeing this with my conservative friends. Much of the passion for Trump is gone.
As a side note, I kinda gave Trump a pass for his unforced errors when he first became president. After all, he was a rookie in all this. But Trump seems to have learned nothing since then. I’m still a Trump guy, for no other reason than I’m I incensed by his indictment.
But I’m hanging by a thread.
We ain’t voting our way out of this.
The fact that Trump was under siege from day one of his presidency only reinforced my support for him and my contempt for his enemies
However, I think most rational people,if they are honest with themselves, would admit that Trump had character flaws they knew could prove fatal to his political fortunes if he didn't get them under control. I have come to the conclusion the man is a narcissist. He conflates what's good for the country with what's good for Trump. He is his Own Worst Enemy No one is bound by their previous support for Trump to nominate him to lose the general election....which he damned sure is certain to do
His group of only trumpers is also pushing people away. You can see that happening here as well.
