Well put. I would go one step further if I may.

When individuals post their “Christian” bonafides on FR, then go on to tear apart Trump, who isn’t good enough, I’m left wondering about the Bible where God used all those very flawed men to accomplish His will.

In other words to the religious on FR with Trump issues, just admit you dislike the man. Just be honest in the fact you have decided he is not your guy. Just stop using religion in an attempt to hold Trump to impossible standards! And lastly, remember how God throughout Scripture accomplished His will through men of much more infamous character flaws than Donald Trump!!

By the way, CNN reported on December 12, 2020 that Trump raised the firing of Barr in a meeting he held with aides the day before:

Trump raised firing Barr in White House meeting on Friday

“Trump had no inside information of players in Washington.
That’s why we picked him. He wasn’t a party to the swamp.
He got advice from people like McConnell, Ryan, and other
GOPe and RNC well knows, about who to hire. He hired them
in.”

People that none of us would take advice from. It can be argued that Trump actually increased the level of the Swamp just as he increased the national debt by 8 trillion dollars.

I haven’t seen evidence of Trump having learned from his mistakes as shown by his endorsement of McCarthy for Speaker and McDaniel as RNC chair

Thank you for your thoughtful questions, and lack of insults I so commonly encounter.

I truly believe that the power of prayer is what ultimately helped Trump win in 2016. I personally knew of many people, including myself, who spent large portions of that election day in prayer. We were literally exhausted when it was over. However, we were also convinced that the prayers of mIllions were what did in fact make the difference. It was a nationwide phenomenon for those who were involved.

That did not happen in 2020. Trump did not har the same level of Christian support by then, for a variety of reasons. Yes, we still wanted him to win, but we weren’t on our knees the whole day again, as we were in 2016.

I still supported Trump strongly even after J6, even though I thought it was a horrible idea at the time. I wanted him to fight the results, but knew that would backfire. Few people agreed he had enough hard evidence that warranted a constitutional crisis, else we open the door for Democrats to do the same in the future.

So he took the $250M donated in December 2020 for election security and disappeared for all of 2021. At that point, I, along with many others, began to see Trump for what he truly is. Just a man, who did some good, but one who was more interested in his image, and building his new website, than actually investigating 2020 election, or securing those in the future.

He’s driven more by vanity, than anything. I believe this is why people quit praying for him, as they had. They were praying for him in 2016, because they believed he would do his best for America. Now, however, he comes across a much more opportunist, than genuine.

For starters, he’ll need to abandon that dedicated website of his, where he posts his daily outrages and insults. Those are to many the epitome of arrogance, and will need to change before a lot of people will ever believe he actually cares about anything but himself. And to many, selflessness, is the definition of Christianity. That is but one example, of how he seems to have lost his way, and by extension, the prayers and well wishes of many.

God Bless you as well, my friend. 2016 was indeed a time for Christians to consolidate around Trump, and surround him with countless prayers, but I doubt it will happen again.

You know, you are a perfect example of a person who will
rationalize anything he wants to believe, and deny anything
that doesn’t buttress his beliefs.

So getting rid of Roe-vs-Wade means nothing to you?

Just admit it. It wasn’t important at all for you.

Keeping wars in check, getting our border under control,
imposing fees on Chinese goods...

Nothing he did was good. But boy anything he did that
was bad, it was really really really really really
bad.

This is just silliness to the max from you folks.

This is what they talk about, the Republicans eating
their own.

Some of you are never happy. Who do you see out there
that rivals Trump’s executive experience, and international
relations?

That’s a polite, professional way of telling the public he just fired Barr and was running it in.

H.W. Bush made the "throat cut" gesture at the 2016 Houston debate, seconds before the GOPe's scripted Rubio-Cruz "tag-team" attack on Trump began.

Yet Trump hired H.W.'s Attorney General? He did indeed "do this to himself."

"I, along with many others, began to see Trump for what he truly is. Just a man, who did some good, but one who was more interested in his image, and building his new website, than actually investigating 2020 election, or securing those in the future."

He was always just a man right from the beginning, all the way through to the end. If you saw him as anything else, then you deluded yourself. Trump never abandoned me, and I won't abandon him. Others can turn their backs on him if they want. I won't.

Trump was interested in building his own social media site because he was banned from the main stream social media sites, or have you forgotten that? How else was he supposed to get his message out?

Why hasn't the swamp stopped going after him since they got rid of him by fixing the election? Why is he running again, knowing full well that he will continue to be a target?

You claim he hasn't done anything about investigating election law, but do know that lawyers like Lin Wood, Jenna Ellis, and Rudy Giuliani, who spoke out and actively worked on election fraud were legally targeted because of their efforts? Anyone who actively worked to uncover the fraud that occurred in 2020 have been targeted by either the DOJ or the American Bar Association. Rudy had his law license temporarily suspended over it. Lawyer John Eastman is going through a disciplinary hearing right now in California to have his law license taken away because he's been accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election. He is the lawyer who proposed that Pence return the electors to the States in question, and now he's fighting to keep his law license. Trump, and others are still being investigated for criminal charges for denying the results of the 2020 election.

Here's a paragraph from a recent Politico article:

"Special counsel Jack Smith is probing whether Trump, Eastman or other allies broke laws in their bid to subvert the election, and he’s hauled in an astonishing string of high-level Trump aides and allies, including former Vice President Mike Pence, to testify before a grand jury. And a federal judge has already declared that Eastman and Trump likely joined a criminal conspiracy to subvert the 2020 election. But bar proceedings have helped shine a public light on the shadowy orbit of lawyers who sought to aid his effort to cling to power."

I hope you have a better understanding of what has been going on, and is still going on to destroy Trump once and for all.

Msg #1: This reads like a nice send-off for Barr after Trump asked for his resignation.

“He just didn’t know how to pick them.”

The usual suspects here didn’t know how to pick them either. That’s why they were silent back when the picking was going on.

No, this crew is issued their talking points from the left. They routinely get their junk kicked in, then fade away into the ether. To arise on another thread spouting the same nonsense... out of fat lips from the last time they ran their nonsense.

This is likely a planned strategy. I wondered who turned Barr on. This idiot is everywhere. So turn idiot on (for what, $20k maybe?), then have your army of ‘tards start spouting the manufactured nonsense you fed them all over social media. Decent ROI I guess, the turds flooding social media are probably cheaper than Thai hookers. May even be free.

Trump had no inside information of players in Washington. That’s why we picked him. He wasn’t a party to the swamp. He got advice from people like McConnell, Ryan, and other GOPe and RNC well knows, about who to hire. He hired them in.

If Trump knew about the swamp, why did he rely on advice from the swamp and hired from the swamp?

There is nothing in the US Constitution preventing the POTUS from hiring outside Washington DC.

If you really wanted to clear the swamp, bring in people from outside who will recognize the swamp....not people who live in the swamp and think it is normal.

At some point, maybe by the mid-term, Trump should have been replacing everyone with outsiders. Instead, he brought in more swamp dwellers.

In 2022, Trump supported many more swamp dwellers and endorsed McCarthy as Speaker and McDaniel as GOP Chair.

Trump has not learned a damn thing and another Trump term in office will not be any different than last time.

Since he served as AG under Bush the Senior, That’s about as deep state/ Republican Establishment as they come.

I’ll say what I said then, DJT should have kept Sessions around and not replaced with a bushie bagman. having the sleepy keebler elf do nothing was better then having an AG actively harming him.

Great post!!!

I see in President Trump a man who, since 2015, has endured the worst of humankind imaginable. I don’t know bow he endures. It has to be his faith and God’s will that sustains him. A very wise pastor once said, “God never uses perfect people to accomplish His will. He uses flawed people. Very flawed people.”

God bless President Trump. May he and his fami!y be kept safe from all manner of evil. And may God crush President Trump’s enemies under His heel and bring this man back to the White House to lead our nation once more from the brink. Amen.

“And that leads to calamitous situations like this, which are very disruptive and hurt any political causes he’s associated with.”

Calamitous???

His own words testify against him; Barr is completely an unhinged liar.
