We have some people on this forum that haven’t learned
a damned thing in 20 years of being on this forum.
Trump had no inside information of players in Washington.
That’s why we picked him. He wasn’t a party to the swamp.
He got advice from people like McConnell, Ryan, and other
GOPe and RNC well knows, about who to hire. He hired them
in.
Then they went against him immediately, although it didn’t
always look like it immediately.
People left to write books. People trying to make a name
for themselves started trashing him. There were and still
are the neverTrumpers who skid by time and again.
No, these brain-trusts thought Trump should have everything
all squared away after two years. Never mind it took
many decades to get this bad.
Our people in the Republican controlled Senate and House
did NOTHING to help Trump. He didn’t even get the wall
funded by them. They didn’t want one, and he was this
guy that would be gone the first six months to two years,
so they stonewalled. But no everything is Trump’s fault!
He just didn’t know how to pick them.
There was evidently no deep state at all. Trump was
lying and picking the worst of the worst on purpose.
Wow, the decline in the mental acuity around here.
Yes, they had a very complimentary relationship for the most part.
I bet you can’t find a single claim from Trump that he fired Barr prior to 2023.
Trump only made it up recently. Only his most gullible followers would believe it.
So you actually believe Barr's recent remarks personally trashing Trump, after Barr's "resignation" letter highly praised Trump. Read the resignation letter.
I think it's pretty clear Barr is lying.
I came to this forum back in the 90’s because Bill Clinton was an immoral man who didn’t believe the laws of this country applied to him. Now, not only do I see the same thing in Trump, he’s actually to the left of where Clinton was at the time on some issues such as LGBT marriage. So I am not the one who has changed over the last 20.
I never said that I could.
It happens all the time an employee is offered the choice of being fired or resigning.
Most professionals under that circumstance, resign.
And neither the employer or the employee say a bad word about each other. I personally know examples of that.
And it's pretty clear with the timing of the resignation. It was right after Barr said that there was no significant election fraud.
What? Barr and Trump praised each other in 2020. It’s now 2023 and this is a brand new case.
Barr says Trump is being unfairly prosecuted, again, but doesn’t have a good legal defense on this one case.
Trump has responded by saying he fired Barr back in 2020 which looks like a complete lie.
You’re salivating to see Trump do the perp walk, aren’t you?
ROFL this is Trump we’re talking about. Name someone else he fired and spoke nice of them at the time, and didn’t claim he fired them until 3 years after. You can’t.
No, I said that Barr is now trashing Trump personally, calling is administration "chaotic" and a "horror show". Barr has changed is tune about Trump's administration.
>> Where’s the bagpipes?
Bagpipes are up Bill Barr’s ass, one by one, until done. If only in my dreams.
No I actually hope Trump gets off, somehow, as he’s being unfairly prosecuted.
I just don’t like it when so called conservatives make ridiculous excuses for him, as we see all the time.
Barr
We finally found someone in that part of the Deep State willing to testify!
The entire FBi Leadership declined to even be interviewed by Durham!
Now, Dirty Bill wants on the stand! Wow!
His hypocrisy knows no bounds!
Sounds like it’s his fantasy to lash out at Trump on the stand. But since he was fired before Trump left the WH, he likely knows absolutely nothing about the exit process.
>> [Golden Eagle is] salivating to see Trump do the perp walk, aren’t you?
Of course. There are a significant number of NeverTrumper concern trolls here.
I recall with satisfaction the recent poll of FReepers in which President Trump came out #1 by a margin of, like, 85%. All the other rino losers split the 15%.
absurd? i’m not a lawyer, but i’ve know about the legal theory of ‘Separation of Powers.’ or just the 4th Amendment. that a President has a right to define what is his, copy, and keep his papers just like any other American is absurd? not controversial at least?
the fact that this so called statute is also a mostly needless a weaponization against freedom of the press (the freedom of American citizens to know what their gov’t is doing and did), and a protection for depraved politicians?
i won’t even get into the double (actually 10x) standard.
no barr, you’re absurd. and imo, the worst, most dangerous cabinet appointment in presidential history, and Trump had a dumpster full of bad ones with you.
I would much prefer if you went back to posting scripture, instead of profane thoughts, which seem more common now. I for one miss it.
ROFL this is Trump we’re talking about.
Okay, you believe Bill Barr just had to resign on friendly terms five weeks before the administration ended because why?
Frankly, I am very angry right now, and not doing a great job of Eph. 4:26. I am not perfect, but by the grace of GOD I am forgiven. But thanks for the admonition.
.
10 to 1, Barr is still on the payroll like Stephan Halper.
He has a financial incentive.
