DNC in Disarray: Biden Looks Likely to Lose First Two Contests of 2024
Townhall ^ | 06/19/2023 | Spencer Brown

Posted on 06/19/2023 10:07:23 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

As Townhall has covered since Democrat party bosses decided to upend their party's 2024 primary schedule last December, President Joe Biden's party might have taken action that will see the incumbent president lose the first two contests of the looming primary season.

In February when the DNC voted to formally approve the new schedule, Townhall noted that "there's still an uncertain and rocky road ahead for Democrats due to state laws and other yet-to-be-fully-determined problems."

As it turns out, that rocky road included bumps that turned out to be insurmountable for the national Democrat leaders who sought to remove first in the nation status from Iowa (caucuses) and New Hampshire (primary) and give it to South Carolina, followed by New Hampshire and Nevada a few days later and rounded out with Michigan and Georgia primaries earlier in the cycle.

In a reality that is looking "increasingly likely" according to an Axios report last Thursday, Iowa and New Hampshire will still be the first states to hold their contests before South Carolina's primary, states where "Biden's team is indicating he won't be on the ballots" if they end up bucking the DNC's officially sanctioned calendar.

The DNC's new schedule — an apparent attempt to use its muscle to force a change to the primary order that's been the standard for decades — mirrors its previous efforts to protect favored candidates from fair competition. This time, though, it looks like the DNC may have handed an embarrassment to Biden and his re-election campaign as state parties ignore the DNC's threat to strip convention delegate spots from those which go against the DNC.

More from Axios:

Democrats in Iowa and New Hampshire could defy Biden and move ahead with their contests — even as the party warns it will strip them of their national convention delegates if they jump the gun.

That sets up a scenario in which Robert F. Kennedy Jr. or another long-shot Democrat could win those states — and embarrass the president...

Since Biden’s surprise decision last December to make South Carolina the first state in Democrats' 2024 season with a primary on Feb. 3, New Hampshire Democrats have openly bashed the White House and the Democratic National Committee...

Iowa Democrats haven't been as publicly hostile over Biden's move. But in the past two months they've quietly moved to hold their contest the same day as Iowa Republicans — in January, but with a mail-in option for ballots...

Biden also has fond memories of South Carolina, where his primary victory in 2020 propelled him to the Democratic nomination. He has struggled in Iowa and New Hampshire contests in the past, and his team saw political security in pushing for South Carolina to vote first...

Biden’s proposed calendar stunned many top Democrats — even DNC chair Jamie Harrison, who is from South Carolina, said he wasn't given a heads-up before the decision.

Last week, the DNC met to consider primary and caucus proposals from state parties, but without promising results. For Iowa, national party bosses rejected its plan to hold caucuses on the the same date as Republicans "at least eight days before any other state’s presidential nominating contest," according to The Gazette. Democrats in New Hampshire also didn't have their plan to hold the primary as statutorily required "a week before any other similar contest," but DNC rule-makers gave Granite State Democrats until September 1 to move its primary after South Carolina's — a resolution that's not likely to happen, according to Politico

Axios noted that the likely absence of Biden's name in Iowa and New Hampshire means that "some Democrats have floated a write-in campaign" in those states, but the president's re-election campaign "declined to say whether it would support such an effort."

No worries!

The "By Any Means Necessary" Party will just rig these primaries, and their Media will turn a blind eye.

Why doesn't the DNC just TELL us which states they have complete control of?

Michigan and Georgia are at the top of my Obama 2008 Vote Fraud Detection tool's dance card.

We saw in the Hillary vs Sanders primary battles that the DNC doesn’t care about what the people want. There were even lawsuits where the DNC didn’t follow its own rules in selecting candidates. In the end, the courts ruled that the DNC was a private organization and could do whatever they wanted and the public be damned.

Seems like the perfect plan to camouflage how many people hate Bidet. This is what rigging an election looks like. And everyone can see it coming.

“ and embarrass the president...”

Biden’s not president.

Nonetheless, he is not embarrassed by anything.

No. The DNC will dump Biden-Harris and put in new cardboard cut outs. Newsom/Warren or a Person of Color Like Oprah or The Gov. of Minnesota. A woman/black ticket that will win over the media. RFK Jr. will be shoved off or Assassinated. DeSantis turned into a racist homophobe clown. And Trump put out to pasture. But, things are in the works beyond Soros Control and I believe this election will become bloody and violent. Keep your heads down when the bullets start to fly.

They are not really worried.
If they get in trouble they will just do a NJ switch-a-roo and “select” someone younger.
The GOP will never see it coming.

Rare for disunity in the Dem party, as in Iowa and NH. Let’s see how this plays out. I think Biden is unstoppable - Dems know only he stands between them and the fascist chaos of the orange monster.

I hate the Iowa, New Hampshire thing.
Here’s how I think it should work.
5 groups of states. Population of each group as close to each other with the least bit of difference between top and bottom between each group and within each group. Mathematically, there is only one solution for assigning states to a group.
Keep the grouping for 20 years. Every 4 years, a new group goes to the front of the line and the others move up, the last election’s first group goes to the back. Space out the primaries, one group a month starting in April. Only campaigning allowed is speeches to groups and townhall type meetings.
September is for the conventions if there is still a doubt about the preferred candidate. October is the only month for campaign commercials, billboards and yard signs.
Vote in November.

In this way, Every state has a chance to be “first in the nation” sometime during those 20 years.

If I were a Democrat, voting for RFK would be an easy decision over this lame corrupt senile old man.

DNC to the American voters: Here is your candidate. Shut up and vote. Dem primaries are just for show. And since they have mastered stealing presidential elections, I would bet that dem primaries will disappear. They will just pick the person they want, then make the election happen.

One seriously doubts that Mister Biden plans to run or that the Dem overlords actually want him to run in 24.

They might want him to run out the time clock on the alleged administration, but unlikely to actually run.

They likely have some more optically appropriate candidates ready to go. The ultimate October surprise?

All guesses, but darned good ones.
