Many of the Native People of Alaska belong to The Russian Orthodox Faith—they might not mind being under Moscow. Russia treated native people a lot better than the USA has. The USA hasn’t been around that long to suffer a major military defeat (well, the War of 1812 saw our capital burned—in revenge for burning the capital of Canada). Somehow a nation that literally has to snatch people off the street and press gang them into it’s army and then sends that army drunk and with barely any training into battle isn’t something I’d worry about.
