And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
I think I am looking for something a little clearer ...
That's a pretty ambiguous statement...
It could mean just about anything , with out a whole lot of context.
Even when read in context with the chapter, it's pretty difficult
.. as evidenced by the confusion of some of the apostles... and it doesn’t seem to address the question..
note verse 50
And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
so it would appear I am still looking
