Over the past five years, ... : The wage gap...has shrunk.

The five-year period being discussed in 2017 to 2021. And, who was President through the first four years of this period? Do you think this is mentioned by the New York Times? (Don't bother wasting your time finding out, you know the New York Times wouldn't mention who was president.)
The person who was president from 2016 to 2020 is a big reason for minority progress in this country, and for the entry of many minorities into the Republican Party. Today we are competitive among Hispanic and Asian-American voters and growing among black voters.
Prior to 2016, I had never seen a Republican presidential candidate campaign in black communities. Being from New York City, and a bit older, I did see Nelson Rockefeller campaign in black communities. In both cases, in Trump's and in Rockefeller's, we're talking of charismatic people who could cut through barriers and personally connect with people.
It is rare that anybody can see both Trump's strengths and weaknesses. He had (and has) strong strengths and strong weaknesses. Among his accomplishments has been to change the trajectory of racial politics in the country, so that our political future isn't going to be determined by demographic trends.
"What do you have to lose?" asked Trump in 2016. I'm sorry, but the places that are controlled lock, stock and barrel by the Democrats are hellholes. But, the places that we control are abounding with opportunities for all regardless of color. We say more than live and let live. We say prosper and let prosper. And if you have an alternative life style, that o.k. too as long as you don't force it on others.
Yep, we’re all headed to “zero”.
They’ve dumbed down enough white chillen, too.
“Over the past five years, ... : The wage gap...has shrunk.”
Nice, but doesn’t matter. The Democrats, as they operate today, will ALWAYS be pushing race wars, they know nothing else.
Is it really a cultural issue and not a race issue?
