I didn’t know the particulars but I’d heard our laws were considerably more radical than Europe’s. I think using the pill here at full term is probably also illegal, but I can only imagine that the media would paint her as a sympathetic figure, driven by desperation etc etc. I don’t thin imprisoning her would be politically feasible here

12 weeks would be a fairly typical European limit, later if the child has some defect.
