Not that it will happen (God willing, it won’t), but I’d have a tough time voting against Kennedy if he were up against a Lindsey Graham type. After all, if Graham gets his way and goes nuclear against Russia and maybe China, what’s left to argue over?
But for sure, if Trump hasn’t been Epstein’d by the Primary time, he gets my vote, jail or no jail.
Ironically, Eugene V. Debbs campaigned from a jail cell, incarcerated for opposing US involvement in WW I under the Espionage Act. We’ve come full circle.

My #1 issue above all others is who will keep my kids out of some useless neocon war.
There are many things I disagree with him about, but its not like the GOPe is stopping that stuff either. He is right about the intel state, civil liberties, and most importantly foreign policy.
His defense posture is to “cut” the defense budget by bringing our forces home and focusing on defense of our nation vs being the world policeman.
I can nitpick some of it but overall I can live with it as a Veteran. Ironically, he would be almost as hated as Trump by the deep state. The DNC is going to “Bernie” him. They have to because he will win some primaries.
