I’ll admit, once again, I am not entirely sure what you are saying here but what party do you align with? Trumps?

If so, it appears you are doing that which you are accusing Trump of doing “constantly”.

If not, you seem to be in the wrong place.

On another note, has it occurred to you that maybe the people he attacks (like Liz Cheney for example) are not in his party, but imposers? Deserving of attack, they are.

Trump joined my party, the Republican Party, after many decades of being a Democrat, an Independent, and a member of the Reform Party. Not that I or anybody else own the Republican Party. It’s a membership-based party.

No, I did not like his childish behavior during the primaries of 2016; but, I supported him once he was the party’s titular nominee. This included max’ing out during the general election in terms of financial support.

There wasn’t a primary contest in 2020, and I supported him again. Similarly max’ing out. This is what party members do. They back the nominees of the party.

I am also a veteran and, no, I did not like his treatment of John McCain in 2016. Questioning whether McCain was a hero, and saying he (Trump) prefers soldiers who win. And to think, Trump avoided service during the Viet Nam war.

Now Trump calls another veteran, “DeSanctimonious” and “meatball,” and questions the size of his penis. If there’s something to which I am more loyal than the Republican Party, it is our country and our veterans.

Trump called Mitch McConnell a “dumb son of a bitch.” That guy, McConnell, held up Obama’s judicial nominees during 2015-2016, and got almost all of Trump’s nominees through even though we were operating with a slim majority in the Senate. But, Trump called McConnell a “dump son of a bitch” (and other choice epithets).

Now, Trump doesn’t like the way twenty House members voted regarding Shiff, and he calls for them to be primaried. Of the twenty, I figure one of them - the one who voted to impeach Trump - won’t be backing him in next year’s primaries. Now maybe a few more will think twice before supporting Trump.

Am I calling Trump names? I have toyed with that idea. But, I think that’s a loser’s game. It didn’t help Li’l Marco or Lyin’ Ted back in 2016. I think we should simply admit that Donald Trump is one of the greatest name-callers in history.

But you say I’m doing the same thing that Trump is doing, by pointing out things that make Trump look like a child having a temper tantrum. To you, this is like I’m being a name-caller. Actually, this what I decided to do. Instead of saying Trump is a jerk, I’ll say Trump is doing XY and Z, and if that makes Trump look like a jerk, so be it.

I will close with the following: when a person has repented of a sin, it is bad form to bring that sin up. But, I really doubt Trump is going to change. His eldest daughter and her husband have distanced themselves from him, and that didn’t register with him. His lawyer advised him to settle with the National Archives and be done with matter of the secret documents. But, no, Trump didn’t listen to his lawyer (and now has a new lawyer). People tend to become set in their ways as they get old, and Trump is 77.
