Armed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive (ATF) agents raided a gun store in Great Falls, Montana seizing all forms that hold buyer’s information during firearm transactions.
According to the Gateway Pundit, the owner of the Highwood Creek Outfitters, Tom Van Hoose, alleged that he has been under surveillance by federal agents for over two years. On Wednesday, 20 heavily armed IRS agents raided his store seizing all Form 4473s in the store.
The agents had arrived early Wednesday morning as Hoose was opening for the day.

So it begins
It would be easier for the Feds just to create a list of people who don’t have guns, it would be a lot shorter.
Get a copy of the warrant.
That has the PC for everything they did.
On a side note, if the Governor had any balls he would inform every sheriff to make life a living hell for the Fed’s. Pull every local officer and deputy from all task forces and order sheriffs to intervene if something like this happens again.
So it begins
LOL that’s exactly what I said!!!!!
Especially in Montana.
Interesting that the IRS is involved, seemingly as the lead agency. ATF says they were there in support, telling me there are no gun related charges.
Shameful the local sheriff didn’t step up to help the store owner.
People asked “Budget for thousands of weapons for IRS agents. What are they going to need those for?”
We knew.
The IRS is and has been a rouge agency since its inception. Now the $80 billion boost in its budget and 87,000 new thugs is without question designed and tasked to disarm the American citizens. With the IRS, you’re guilty until you can prove yourself innocent and they’ll break you in the process.
Imagine if they did this at an abortion factory.
The article doesn’t mention whether the IRS agents presented a search warrant or whether there was probable cause that a crime was committed.
“So it begins”
And will soon ramp up.

‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can’t take that away
… And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I’d gladly stand up next to you
And defend Her still today
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt
I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.

Arming the IRS: What could possibly go wrong?
They will have their registry, period.
The raid was conducted in a terroristic manner. It was an act of bullying and intimidation. Was there not another way to handle this situation? Why did they want these records? Did they want to know who purchased the guns? Did they think the owner wasn’t paying his taxes? And, I’ll ask again, did they have a search warrant showing probable cause of a crime?
Then there’s the push to have thousands more (armed?) IRS agents. How long before, say, the Department of Education bureaucrats are armed? Just askin’.

The Republicans claim to be concerned. They all whine a lot about it being problematic, but they’ll never try to stop it.
If we had a real political party fighting for us maybe things would be a little different.
If by “rouge” you mean “red,” yep. But also rogue.
Unfortunately we need just one of these raids to go bad. Then everyone up the chain can be brought to justice. Everyone. From the goon level to the IRS director, ATF director. How hard is it to serve a civil summons or a criminal warrant if needed without the terror show.
