I presume these 20 have something to hide and are concerned about living in a glass house. Too bad, hopefully all get primaried next year.

My new congress-critter, Kevin Kiley, eked out a win in November in McClintock's former district ... so he shouldn't have anything to hide ... so there's no excuse .... for McClintock either!

Anyway, I blasted Kiley -- who ran as a "conservative" -- on his vote on the budget/debt ceiling earlier this month, and I just fired this one off to his office:

************
Greetings:

In a period of just two weeks, Mr. Kiley has again revealed to his voter base a serious disconnect between the principles he expounded to win the election and the significantly different principles he now holds in office.

With his decision to join with the democrat/communists in the House to excuse Adam Schiff's extraordinarily unethical behavior against a sitting Executive, Kiley could not even muster the moral courage to condemn this despicable behavior which, quite frankly, says more about Kiley than it does about the disgraced Schiff.

Alas, I blame myself for being so easily duped by him ... and at my age and with my half century of professional experience I am rightly embarrassed over my failure to see the duplicitous nature of this man that has become so blatantly obvious.

Be assured I won't make that mistake again. I shall commit my time and resources to ensure Kevin Kiley has the shortest possible full term in office ... realizing that over the next 18 months he can continue to cause measureable damage to the Republican Party and to conservative voters in this district.

Then again, perhaps next year Kevin Kiley will run as a Democrat, but then he would not be anywhere near as effective in undermining one of the few remaining conservative sanctuaries in this dying state.

Trustworthy politicians are very rare indeed. So although my disappointment is profound, it is not unexpected.
