Run with that. It's brilliant! /s
You folks are going to be presented with a political lesson to be learned and it will be soon. I can see most of you failing the subject in an imbecilic fashion. 25% of Trump voters today will not consider voting for DeSantis as an alternative. That's going to be the beast that wipes out the blue blood republicans. I'm all in!
In post 11 the claim was made: “DeSantis lost me when he went back on his pledge to serve out his term as Governor.”
I have questioned the claim and I welcome you to the discussion.
Can you provide a link to this reported broken pledge? There must be tape somewhere. I’d love to see it.
Who keeps talking about traitors?
Oh yeah! For passive things! But blatantly saying you’re talking your ball to go home, is NOT betrayal!
When you say, “Trump voters”, what do you mean? Are you assuming all or even nearly all people who voted for Trump are dying of love for him? Or are you just talking about the actual EverTrump sycophants?
Asked this question earlier…not all of those “80million” are dying of love for Trump, so it’s not as many as you might think. If it’s only 25%, so much the better.
Bring out the guac bowls. 😏
What hogwash.
As if there has never been a governor who ran for President (or even as VP) during his term.
Sometimes that’s the risk you take.
Of course, the way EverTrumpers squeal you’d think DeSantis leaving FL would be good.
😂😂
Can't agree with you on this. President Ronald Reagan spoke at at least one rodeo; it is a great tradition.

There are reasons to prefer President Trump over Governor DeSantis. For one thing DeSantis may be too conservative for some Republicans.
But going to a rodeo is not a strong argument against a politician.
Palin is an example when you quit in middle of term.
DeSantis should have some self-respect, apologize to Trump and dropout of the race.
She’s your one example. Recent, I’ll grant that, but not unprecedented.
Did she “promise”, too?
Yup, he’s violated his pledge to be Florida governor. He’s selling out his Florida voters. This demonstrates lack of character.
He was elected governor. The implication is that you will serve your ENTIRE term that you were elected for.
I don't know. What are you holding back?
That is not a pledge DeSantis made to the voters when running for a second term. Liberal Charlie Crist attempted to use the lack of a pledge against DeSantis and Florida voters overwhelmingly voted against Crist’s proposition.
Even President Trump jumped on the DeSantis’ reelection bandwagon knowing full well he (DeSantis) had not agreed to rule out possible higher service within four years.
Now, if you prefer Trump to anyone else - fine. Nothing wrong with that.
Over one-quarter of Republican voters – 27 percent – will not consider voting for Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis in the upcoming Republican presidential nomination race. Comparably, just 14 percent of Republican voters say they would not consider supporting Donald J. Trump.
Read into that whatever you wish.
EverTrumpers. That is who keeps whining about some “treason” because DESantis didn’t fully laud Trump around election time. Passive.
Yet, they state they Will Not vote for anyone but Trump. Disloyalty to the country, if you let it slip into commie Dem hands just because you’re harrumphing while taking your ball home since your lord was not the choice.
I will never do that. I think Trump is highly overrated and more trouble than he’s worth, but I would never step away from voting at all or against Trump just because my preference doesn’t make it.
Please don't knock each others out.
It tells me too many people are sycophants for Trump. Dangerously close to worshipping an idol, a king they wish for.
Meanwhile, fewer people are so sick they refuse to vote for Trump.
But yes, if true and it holds, we’re in danger again of losing to communists. Because too many people are beholden to a man rather than a country. (Don’t bother with platitudes about Trump = USA, we hear it all the time.)
And more if we don’t concern ourselves with Congress, like last time.
Right now, they can’t as running mates.
But yes, joining forces generally would be much better.
For once in my life I voted for a halfway decent Governor. I used to have to hold my nose being from Chicago, Illinois. And then DeSantis pull this.
