I agree the man is under attack, but he’s still polarizing. The left/media has done a great job of turning half the voters against him forever.

George W. Bush in many ways got the same smear job applied to him and the economy tanking sealed the deal for public opinion on him the lame duck and John McCain the POTUS candidate in 2008.
