Ron DeSantis’s campaign wants him to meet and take more questions from ordinary voters to overcome fears about his temperament, DailyMail.com has learned.
The 44-year-old has so far shied away from Q&A sessions on the road, despite being a standard feature of U.S. politics.
Now, three DeSantis staffers have said they have concerns about the Navy veteran’s presentational style after being overshadowed by his wife Casey at rallies.
A third source said that they even had to coach the Florida governor on ‘when to smile’ when trying to interact with ordinary Americans.

The scenario that Trump supporters have in mind is that Trump gets back in and cleans house — with some necessary demolition — and then DeSantis is elected in 2018 to complete the renovation. This has an element of genuine shrewdness in that in a badly run business, a “change agent” may be brought in to implement the kinds of business decisions (firings and cutbacks) that cause lasting animosity, then, with the business back in order, steps out for a new leader who rebuilds and pursues new lines of business development.

DeSantis’ whole Presidential campaign has been one cringe and blunder after another.
Imagine his getting the nomination.
No-one will ever hear him because the mass media will be making fun of his white boots, lifts, sweaty shirt meltdown, or whatever...

deSwamp is destroying himself.
If he had stayed loyal, he would have been a shoe-in for Trumps VP and an easy nomination in 2028, win or lose in 2024.
Instead he got greedy, hired Team Cruz as his advisors, and is repeating every Cruz blunder cringe for cringe.

"Trying to lump DeSantis in with Jeb Bush is blatantly false. "

“For policy ideas, I think the edge goes to Trump. For actual ability to IMPLEMENT policies, I would give it to DeSantis."
For drafting ball players, I'd rather draft someone who comes to play, rather than draft a guy with more talent who has already taken money to throw games.

You’re not being rational. De Santis is doing great.
