Yup. So why are there so many levels at the VA for vets? If you served, you/we should be covered without jumping through hoops.
Congress sets the rules.
I’m service connected disabled.
But not bad enough for free stuff.
I co-pay on everything, but it is
much cheaper than Medicare.
If you make too much money you
can’t get enrolled.
Once you are enrolled you are in forever.
regardless of income.
Blame Congress.
BTW on any given fiscal year they
can totally defund the VA or
change all the priority rules.
Which they have done in the past.
