You must be living in a bubble. MSM and the GOPe has pulling for DESANTIS' for over two years. His name is broadcasted on MSM day and night for over two years.

DeSantis is poorly advised. He stood a good chance of being the Republican Presidential candidate in 2028, and would have received the support of MAGA advocates. Instead, he has poisoned his brand and will have alienated Trump supporters. The other candidates, Vivek excepted, come from the moderate faction of the Republican Party. DeSantis stands scant chance of drawing the country club vote due to his strong social conservatism.
