Yeah, we could all go back to the pretend child like state we lived in pre Trump. We could deny political reality and think the political system is not riggged and the Deep State is not all powerful, and we have self rule.
If the Democrats learned to live with getting insulted by Trump, they could get 40-50% of what they want just by stroking his ego. In exchange for steady progress toward their communist superstate, Trump voters get to boast that they’re beating the Deep State or something while Trump fills his administration with more Faucis, Boltons, and Wrays.
