How many were lost in the first days of the Kherson offensive?

Freedom is not free. If Americans were as willing to fight for their freedom as Ukrainians our nation would be in a much better place.

I’m expecting now to hear from you something along the lines of what Bush or Obama would say, that we have to help them, I mean since we’re world cop, we have to have 750 bases around the world, the military is supposed to be used for humanitarian reasons, Putin is going to roll over all of Europe (even though he can’t and he won’t attack a NATO membee)member), etc, etc.

In the end, more power to them, Europe can help them too and grow up and take care of their own back yard as Europe’s problems aren’t the world’s problems.

Here is the most likely outcome, btw:

Ukraine could join ranks of ‘frozen’ conflicts, U.S. officials say

U.S. officials are planning for the growing possibility that the Russia-Ukraine war will turn into a frozen conflict that lasts many years — perhaps decades...”

Except for the 10 million or so who fled both east and west to avoid this nonsense.

Great job repeating the leftist propaganda! But this does cause one to consider some interesting facts.

25% of Ukraine's population has fled. 40% of those fled to Russia instead of the affluent West. Zelensky has forbidden males from leaving the country because all may be compelled to join the military. This is not voluntary, 10s of thousands have been kidnapped from their homes and off the streets and been unceremoniously shoved into the meat grinder a short time later with very little training. Those who escape from their posts are shot by Zelensky’s thugs. They are not free under Zelensky’s dictatorial rule and all they really hope to do is survive.

Nearly every Russian male is required to serve in the military for 12 months between the ages of 18-27. They can be called back up for service at any time. But this is a longstanding policy and considered part of one's obligations to their country. Military service is part of Russian culture.

As far as our own country being better off if we were more like the Ukrainians... Less than 23% of Americans 17-24 can even qualify for any branch of the US military. I am guessing that Ukraine would take them all.

Compare a Russian recruiting ad to one of our own. Kind of revealing?

Numbers seem high. What is the Truth? Who can say—but it appears the Uke’s are getting their butts kicked but good. Its OK, soon American GIs will be fighting along side of them with Germans and French troops. What could possibly go wrong?
