It is not just 2016. I find Harvard-Educated, Canadian-Cuban-American Rafael Edward Cruz to be despicable, scum. Yes, I know I initially supported him for president, then found he wasn’t even eligible. I still remember he dropped out the day after being asked about his father’s friend, ties, and work with Lee Harvey Oswald. I remember the cringeworthy picture of him and his daughter, etc. Everything he touches in the Senate fails, he backstabs, whines, and preaches. That goes beyond 2016. Anyway, you asked.

He is one of the very few real conservatives in the Senate. Most of the things the conservatives try fail because they have little support. It doesn’t help that supposed conservatives attack him and other conservatives MORE THAN the hundreds of GOPe legislators who seem to think their job is to let the left win at every opportunity.
He “whines and preaches” like most of the prophets throughout history have done against corruption in the halls of power. Not saying he is a modern prophet, but he is on the right side of most issues. And it’s why the left hates him almost as much as Trump. Hillary even made a backhanded compliment to Trump that at least he wasn’t Cruz. What does that tell you?
