It does expose the idiocy of Russian totalitarian propaganda. The talking heads would rather admit to committing a massive war crime than admit to rank incompetence and negligence. Even if they DIDN’T do it deliberately. Less risk of a novichok cocktail / accidental self inflicted multiple head shot / trip out of a seventh storey window.
