What resources is that?
Oil from our Strategic Reserve is being sent to Europe for Ukraine. The reserve has been, and is still being depleted. The U.S. has sent diesel fuel to Ukraine. They have also depleted our stock of older weapons that could be used to defend this country in the meantime, in case we had to start producing stuff at war levels again. We had to ask (more like threaten) South Korea to give us 500,000 rounds of 155mm artillery shells so they could be sent to Ukraine, because we don't have them here. Now Zelensky is begging South Korea for air defense systems. As if they don't need them for themselves.
Ukraine is a money pit. No matter how much money you pour into it, it isn't going to be fixed. It's draining taxpayer dollars every day, while Americans are paying exorbitant prices for gas, food, everything, and illegals are pouring over the border, putting even more stress on the pockets of hard-working Americans. Please tell me what is the national security interest in Ukraine for the U.S., that we are destroying our economy and letting our country go to shit for it?
