An employee at former US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence drained the resort’s swimming pool last October and ended up flooding a room where computer servers containing surveillance video logs were kept, sources familiar with the matter told CNN on Monday.
While it is unclear if the room was intentionally flooded or if it happened by mistake, the incident occurred amid a series of events that federal prosecutors found suspicious, according to the report.
At least one witness has been asked by prosecutors about the flooded server room as part of the federal investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents, according to one of the sources.
The incident, which has not been previously reported, came roughly two months after the FBI retrieved hundreds of classified documents from the Florida residence and as prosecutors obtained surveillance footage to track how White House records were moved around the resort.

When I first read the headline, I thought he had figuratively “flooded the room” WITH surveillance videos. You know, you walk in, book cases full of video tapes and DVDs, A bunch of green bar printouts neatly bound, maybe a half dozen giant screens showing surveillance video . . . flooded. I didn’t immediately realized that the room was actually flooded with water.

You notice they didn’t use the words “accidentally” flooded? Their headline is simply a transparent effort to imply the area was flooded intentionally... although they have no evidence proving or even suggesting that is the case. If they did, you can safely bet your last dollar that specific allegation would be blaring from every left-wing cable “news” channel.

Howie Carr read the AP story yesterday. Somewhere in the fourth or fifth paragraph they mention that none of the logs were damaged, the water only covered the floor and did not affect any saved data.
That’s what I thought, too.

I read where although it flooded there was no damage …a nothing burger.
