It’s worth the trip. We had to drive from Maryland to Minneapolis for a wedding so decided to check a few more states off the list. (I’m at 46)
10 days, 11 states, 4350 miles.
We didn’t have any significant plans. No hotel reservations, nothing. It was almost a pure road trip. “Hey, I just saw a sign for a Lewis and Clark Museum.” It’s only 30 miles out of our way. Let’s go.”
The SPAM Museum in Minnesota was remarkably cool too.
Plan a trip to the Badlands while you’re there. We didn’t go but I heard Custer State park is also incredible.
i’m in Northern Va- i’d really like to go!! I can’t be gone that long though. Maybe we’ll fly although Hubby is dreading that.
