“And the biggest lie is in the constitution. ‘All men are created equal’”
I don’t think that phrase means what most people think it means. America was revolting against a government focused on royalty, monarchy, and status determined by birthright, i.e., unequal.
Maybe not, but it gives cover and ammunition to the demagogues, the equity pimps.
And as for “birthrights” - privileges of birth - well they exist and are real even without monarchies, dictated by genes. Some of us are blessed with higher IQ, beauty, size, initiative and other positive attributes while others are not. In other words we are NOT created equal.
That was a well intentioned, “noble” lie by the founders, but a lie nonetheless. And we know where good intentions sometimes lead to.
And we’re heading that way due, in great measure, to that noble lie.
