I’m starting to understand why Trump has seemed so combative lately. He’s forcing his political adversaries to play defense. He is still very popular, but they are legion.
The joke is that DeSantis, Haley, and Pence all praised President Trump when he was in office. Haley did so in her book in 2019, after she'd already left the Administration. Then they come out of the cupboard because they're running for the highest office in the land, and need to get the most media attention they can. It won't be long before they start attacking each other. They're going to have to, if they want to remain standing. It should be interesting watching the actions of these interlopers over the next year. I doubt most, if any of them will still be in the race by then.
