I see he also said that it’s Important for a U.S. President to have military experience. If it was important, I think our founding fathers would have made sure it was included in the requirements to run for President, found in the Constitution. Singling himself out because he served, while subtly insinuating that those that didn’t serve aren’t qualified.

Off the top of my head I can think of three founding fathers who never served in the military - Jefferson, Adams and Madison. All three served as President.
