It has occurred to me following the Desantis people here that the guy is just Cruz 2016 all over again. Heck he has even some of the same folks on his campaign team. There was quite the back and forth with Crzbots in 2016.

He has more Jeb Bush people than Cruz. It is the National Review Neocon class that chose Ron as the best chance of unseating Trump and when that fails to materialize they will push him to damage Trump.
It could not be more obvious.
FWIW - I had very high hopes for DeSantis and he was doing so much better before the neocon consultant class surrounded him.
