I’m old enough to have been active in gay rights when you could be arrested in some American jurisdictions for a kiss.
Back then, a rainbow flag outside a bar or other establishment meant you could walk in without being kicked out — or worse. Flying it was a risk — and an act of humanity.
Then gay rights emerged, and Pride marches — i.e., earnest demonstrations for equality — morphed into Pride parades — i.e., silly displays. Pride Month was born, complete with corporate sponsors.

Thanks for posting, I always liked this guy. Yes, he’s a homosexual, but he’s always seemed smart, and fair minded, really a classical liberal. He sees that the denial of TRUTH is at the bottom of this rot.

Gawd this reads like this homo is nostalgic for the closet. So which is it gays?! The over-the-top pride month (which makes me ill) or the good old days?!
I happen to have a lesbian couple as neighbors. They’ve lived across the street from me for over 15 years. Quite honestly they’re about the best neighbors I’ve ever had. They’ve raised 2 straight daughters, now in their 20s, and both are getting married (to men) in the next two years.
We have drinks together from time to to time, watch each other’s houses when we go on vacation, normal neighbor stuff. Truth be told I’d take another dozen couples just like them on our block in a heartbeat.
They’re just as baffled by all this lunacy as we are. And folks here would be shocked to find out just how “conservative” the two of them are. They’ve got a couple of guns and have gone to the range with us for a few pointers. They’re Trump supporters, believe it or not.
I’m not ashamed in the least to say that If anyone tried to harm them they’d have to deal with me first.

If so, have you ever mentioned Jesus or The Bible to your lesbian friends? Or is it just sharing drinks and jokes as you mentioned?
I’m reading this last few weeks some stories of the “LGB” not so happy with the “T” + xyz. May the break up be violent and quick.

Ok thanks. So you’ve never brought up the Bible to them, much less the Lord’s condemnation of homosexuality.
So do you know, do they attend a local church? And do you believe the Catholic, or any Christian-based church, should support their homosexual union, that they themselves refuse to reject, or ask repentance for?
Are you concerned for their salvation?
Give it a rest, will ya?
Their salvation ain’t up to the likes of me. And it ain’t up to you, either.
