A group of African American academics is pushing for a UN 'reparations tribunal' to make Washington pay multimillion dollar sums to black citizens for slavery-era abuses, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Justin Hansford, a professor at Howard University School of Law, led the charge for $5 million payouts to black Americans at the UN this week, flanked by colleagues from the University of Pittsburgh and Columbia University.

Determining who your ancestors voted for before the Civil War (if they were living in the US) would be harder in most cases than proving that you had an ancestor who was a slave in the US before 1865. Of course African Americans won't be asked to provide a family tree--they will be presumed to be descended from American slaves (although some may be descended from Caribbean slaves).
Thousands of blacks were slave owners. More than 3,000 in New Orleans alone. Many blacks owned plantations and enslaved their fellow blacks.
Maybe the blacks in Africa who sold their enemies to the Arabs should be the ones paying those reparations.
Corporations will wind up with all the money in no time.
Those who have the worst record as slavers in world history are probably Arabs, mid-easterner. Do they get a pass???
If any “African American academics” actually proposed this, this is an oxymoron if there ever was one.
We have been begging for YEARS to kick the UN out of the USA & for the USA to withdraw from the UN.

Sounds reasonable…There are currently around 47.2 million blacks living in America. Multiplied by 5,000,000 means we’re talking $236 Trillion (as Ralph Kramden would say, “ A mere bag of shells.”…but before you start doling out, let’s first do a little accounting to see what expenses these recipients (and their ancestors have incurred..
We must first deduct for every handout, every set-aside, every food stamp, every housing allowance, every scholarship, every free good and service received, every repair resulting from protests, every overtime paid to police incurred in high crime neighborhoods, every dollar spent on prison space occupied (past or present) by POC, all medical expenses provided at taxpayer expenses, and, of course, a fair amount for each of the lives lost on the battlefield in the war to end slavery (including monies that were lost by surviving family members who lost a breadwinner, a husband, a father, a son)…What am I missing?
My guess is after all is accounted for these recipients likely OWE the federal treasury and the taxpayers who have their money confiscated at ever-increasing rates to fund it, a decent chunk of change.
Soon there will be 87000 armed IRS Agents becoming involved in political issues across the Country. They will want their cut of the reparations.
After LBJ implemented his BIG SOCIALISM of Welfare, not only did it destroy the inner city black family and replaced the father with BIG GOVT, it also indoctrinated the blacks to an attitude of “Give me FREE stuff”.
Their demand for reparations is just the icing on that free stuff cake.
