I have a couple of old guns that were made without serial numbers. No gun manufacturer is going to give you a serial number for a 100 year old gun, especially one that is no longer in business. There a probably millions of these old guns throughout the US and most of them are just wall hangers.

I have a .45 calibre muzzle loader I built myself. I have hit a bulls-eye 300 feet away. I use it for the black powder special hunt for elk in my state. If they want serial numbers on it, have the gun repair shops stamp them on.

Ironic that one of the things antis claim about the second amendment is that it only applies to muzzle loaders and flintlocks, the guns of the time when the Constitution was written.

So now they outlaw muzzle loaders and flintlocks.
