When the current increases (increased demand by all-electric homes) and voltage remains the same, the resistance increases, limiting the amount of electricity that can pass through the electrical grid.Sorry, but this is incorrect.
The more load on a system actually DECREASES the 'resistance', thus more current.

I’m not sure if that is 240 volts via two lines or two 120 volt lines.Both.
The two 120 volt lines are out of phase, adding up to 240 between them.

I think that works out to be about 40 miles per hour of electricity. It might be 80 miles per hour of electricity. If inserted in a Telsa, it is 40 MPH worth.
In a Bolt, it's 80.
Does I REALLY need a snark/sarc tag here??
I hope not.

Yes, what you said:
“EVERY conductor (cable) in the whole grid must be upgraded accordingly. Good luck with that.”
And upgrade the power plants too. In other words, the entire electrical infrastructure needs to be upgraded in order to support the libtard dream.
Home construction should be made more energy efficient too (IMO) for all electric homes. Adding to the cost of course.

Many homes there don’t even have AC and heating because they don’t need it. I spent some time in coastal LA with a view of the ocean during parts of Dec and Jan. I stayed at an older home with a gas furnace and no AC. A few of the overnight lows reached the upper 40's with daytime highs barely reaching 60. Those were the days I had the furnace turned on all day. Most of the time I would turn the furnace on for a hour so when I woke up...

“...A typical twelve-hundred–sq. ft. home with gas heat, stove, and water heater needs a 100-amp electrical service. “
I cannot believe any new house would have a 100 amp service.
I built my 1,050 sq. ft. home in ‘95 (no a/c - we don’t need it) and we have a 200 amp service. Propane heat, range and hot water...
A typical home here has a 200 amp service with a 100 amp sub panel in a detached garage.
The big homes have 400 amp (or more) service panels.
I do believe we will see California self destruct within 15 years — invest in popcorn futures! Should be fun, and sad, to watch!

What happens when a natural disaster destroys a region's electrical infrastructure? Restoring electricity to a community can take weeks to months. During this time, families will be left cold and hungry in a dark house and unable to drive to safety.California is a democrat hellhole with delusional politicians running the game. Escape while you can...

That’s the entire and only point for mandating all electric.
The Social Credit System.
You don’t have a good enough SJW/Dem supporting “credit score”, you get cut off, completely.
And in the beginning, the excuse is “we ain’t got enough for everyone so...”
