How Flipping Colorado Blue Has Become Democrats’ Blueprint for the Rest of America
Epoch Times ^ | 5/29/23 | Katie Spence

Colorado’s legislative session is 120 consecutive days long and during the 2023 session lawmakers introduced 617 bills. Of those, 218 passed and have been signed into law by Democratic Gov. Jared Polis. More are waiting to be signed.

Democrats have a historic majority in the Colorado House, a supermajority in the Senate, and control the governorship. As such, all bills passed with Democrat support—and more often than not, over Republican’s vehement objections. It’s a marked change from 2002 when the GOP dominated politics in Colorado.

Colorado Republican Rep. Stephanie Luck is one of a handful of Colorado Representatives fighting back and trying to expose what she describes as Democrats’ Marxist agenda, where individual rights don’t matter, and the government controls every aspect of life.

The Denver area was a great place to live in the late 70’s, I’ve heard that it really sucks now.

Good for you. I’m in Colorado, we’ve been invaded, they fly Mexican flags and they vote.

This is why I’ll never move there, or recommend that anyone else move there.

Re: 7 - It’s an issue that both Trump and DeSantis need to go into detail - what are Republicans doing NOW at the National, State and Local levels regarding elections, besides whining?

Hubby and I spent time in Colorado back in 2002 and it seemed to be a solid RED state back then. Met lots of wonderful conservatives all over the state who apparently assumed that Colorado would always be Red.

How far the beautiful state of Colorado has fallen. Makes me sick every time I think about it...

Corrupt POS SOS, limousine leftist gay governor, Denver turned into a shithole. State is controlled by 4 front range cities. Maybe we should count votes by acreage.
Too old to move so will live my life in spite of these lefties.

Once the Democrats were able to pass no reason mail in ballots, the elections have always gone in their favor. Just an observation, and a lesson to other states.

May 2013 ..The Colorado Senate passed a bill that would allow people to register and vote on Election Day.. provide a ballot by mail directly to all voters whether they request one or not.( illegal aliens, dead, moved out of state.).

The bill passed 20-15 with the full support of Democrats .. The bill passed the House on a party-line vote.. signed by John Hickenlooper.

Although I’m sorry it has to be your state, we had to sacrifice one state to the leftist druggies so they would go there and not to other states to do their damage.

Just read where the little wetback ho wore her Messican flag sash to graduation in Colorado although the school and a judge said she couldn’t wear it. The little La Raza ho threw the race card and wore it anyway. The Gringos all pissed their pants and remained silent. Mexicans are always breaking our laws but they have the race cards. She’s going to make a great lawless, Dung Beetle Party turd roller.

They are working hard to capture Georgia. We went from having two GOP senators to two Dem senators in just one election. I suspect Kemp made a deal with the democrats to let him have his two terms in exchange for those Senate seats.

In addition the state legislature is being taken over by the democrats one district at a time. In 2020 they gained one House seat and one state senate seat. They took two more House seats and another senate seat in 2022.

The GOP still has a majority in both chambers, but if the GOP doesn’t get off it’s duff and get to work, that will not last for long

Minnesota is further down said road too.

I expect them to expand majorities in 2024.
