Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis’s spokeswoman, Christina Pushaw, has doubled down on her historic support of Volodymyr Zelensky, suggesting that critics skeptical of her pro-war stance want her to “support Putin”.
Pushaw, the Governor’s “rapid response director”, has faced criticism for her support of Zelensky, a man accused of embezzling hundreds of millions from U.S. taxpayers. Conservatives concerned chiefly about their own country’s issues are increasingly keen for the White House to broker peace rather than wage war. As such, many are leery of Pushaw’s proximity to and potential influence over Oval Office hopeful, DeSantis.
“When the best ‘oppo’ you can find on me is that I don’t support Putin… I’m okay with that,” she wrote on social media, caricaturing the anti-Zelensky position as explicitly “pro-Putin”, and appending the message with an emoji of a woman shrugging.
Pushaw often draws criticism for her retrospective registration as a foreign agent who once worked for Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia, turned Ukrainian politician. Pushaw has spent a considerable amount of time in Ukraine, and has shared pictures of herself sharing in celebrations with Zelensky on the night of his election.
This is how I will always remember Ukraine.

She looks like the Joker. And is even crazier. No wonder meatball likes her.
More money to Ukraine. Money laundering capital of the world. Yaye! 🙄
I have no idea how anyone can oppose the proxy war and money laundering operation in Ukraine and support DeSantis. But, there are a few here that do.
Fat Lips and her boss will be ignored by me.
No comparison. Times were different then.
Great. Just what DeSantis needs to establish his credibility as an American leader.
