There are only few possibilities as far as the house speaker is concerned.
1. He was having a major stroke. If so he would have been rushed to the hospital.
2. He was intoxicated to the gills.
3. He changed bodies with John Fetterman.
Republican’s seem to have given him an automatic pass as he sought his revenge.
Looks like Texas will be Dem by 2024...2026 at the latest.
Which probably plays a significsnt role in why Texas will eventually be lost to the Left.
Texas would have voted democrat in 2020 if not for Paxton.
The democrats did the same thing in Texas as they did in az nv ga pa wi and mi.
Paxton fought them off.
With paxton out of the way—the dems will be able to roll texas in 2024.

Yep, and Paxton was the only one actually doing more than just looking for facetime in front of the camera. Maybe the senate will wake up and not convict. It's as political as it gets.

While the AG has fought for conservative causes on a national level, his personal actions must be judged by the State of Texas legislature. I believe his motivation to do the right thing in pursuing voter fraud was to cover for his other activities. This is typical for Democrats, the difference being that the democrats would have protected him from his wrong doing.
