Notice how they abandoned the turncoat when she is no longer useful to their cause? She was warned but she adored the cheering fans and many Sunday press appearances that provided her that “fifteen minutes of fame”.
If Cheney had maintained her conservative disguise, she could have risen quickly through the GOP ranks. We are lucky we learned her true colors before she had advanced further in the party.
She's dumb. She would probably have gotten a position in the Cabinet. Or even become Vice President if she was a little lucky.
