RE: I haven’t been able to nail that down. Vivek was born in 1985. I’ve seen someone claim his parents were naturalized in the 1980’s, but I don’t know when in the 1980’s or even if that’s true.
So, the claim that he is not a natural born citizen is PREMATURE. And it’s even more unfair to call him an anchor baby ( i.e., someone whose parents came here illegaly and had him as a child in order to stay here ). BOTH HIS PARENTS CAME HERE LEGALLY and are highly educated immigrants who are not welfare recipients, EXACTLY the kind of immigrants even Trump says we should welcome.
Unless people know something I don’t, I’d say it’s premature to say he’s not a natural born citizen.
Fair point!
“BOTH HIS PARENTS CAME HERE LEGALLY and are highly educated immigrants who are not welfare recipients, EXACTLY the kind of immigrants even Trump says we should welcome.”
Making them “welcome” doesn’t negate the Constitutional requirements.
Even three of Trump’s kids aren’t eligible. Ivana came here legally; she was “welcome”. But she wasn’t a citizen when the three oldest were born.
