Then it seems that Trump was ignorant of what was going on. Desantis wasn’t negotiating with Disney - he took away their special status. Trump has no room to talk on this one - almost everything he accomplished was undone as soon as he left office. Desantis didn’t try to use an executive order that could easily be overturned. He did it the right way - he got the law changed by the Legislature. Anyone that thought Disney would not fight back is delusional, but because it was done the right way, Disney cannot prevail.
