German police on Wednesday carried out raids across seven states targeting climate activists of the "Letzte Generation" (Last Generation) group, which has sparked controversy with protesters glueing themselves to roads to block traffic.
The raids were ordered in an investigation targeting seven people aged 22 to 38 over suspicions of "forming or supporting a criminal organisation", said a joint statement by Bavaria's police and prosecutors.
Fifteen properties were searched, two accounts seized and an asset freeze ordered.
The suspects are accused of "organising a donations campaign to finance further criminal acts" for the group via its website.
The authorities did not specify the "criminal action" they were referring to but said two of the suspects are alleged to have tried to sabotage an oil pipeline between Trieste, Italy, and Ingolstadt, Germany, deemed a "critical infrastructure" in Bavaria.
Dozens of climate activists from the group have found themselves before the courts in recent weeks over their traffic blockade actions.

One commentator referred to people who glue themselves to a wall or street as suffering from Munchhausen syndrome. People with Munchhausen make themselves sick so they can be the center of attention. Combine that with Climate Activism, which is a religion, and you have a potent problem with enormous potential for damage to society. People donate to the activists to get forgiveness for their climate sins, like driving a five hundred horsepower car, so they can continue to sin.
Climate Crazies, the Alphabet People, Trans Crazies are symptoms of the breakdown of Western Culture which is facilitated by communists and leftists who have taken over positions of power and influence in the church, government and social media. All of these are antihumanist movements. They are people who, like Bill Gates who want to reduce the human population to anywhere ranging from two billion to zero. I think all of these trends need to be recognized as a threat to life and actions taken, like the German one, before someone like Gates gets ahold of a technology that can be spread like a disease that will eventually succeed in their goal.
I think largely those who espouse this destruction of humanity envision a world where they, and only they, survive to be a new age Adam and Eve. Or possibly Adam and John.
Easiest way to remove someone who glued themselves to the pavement, wall, painting, is with a chainsaw.
Naw, just a quick pull will do it.
This sh!t would stop within a week.
