Dude put his life on the line more than once for YOU and your family. Regardless of how his political career worked out (and I despised his politics at times), he deserved more respect than you just gave him.
That guy was a scum-bag his whole life.
Just because someone was in the military doesn’t make them a saint.
I met a lot of dirt bags in the military that you wouldn’t want around your kids.
Met a lot of good kids as well.
As long as I’m grinding your gears, I’ll just get it out there and say John Kerry is and has always been a scum bag too.
