Historic anti-LGBTQ legislation? Are we talking about instituting the death penalty for homosexuality? Or going back to criminalizing homosexual conduct? "Normalizing homophobic and transphobic rhetoric"? Like calling a man "he" and a woman "she"? Surge of violent attacks? Where?

Agreed. When it comes to supposedly normalizing transphobia, I guess ones like J.K. Rowling and even Martina Navratilova are guilty parties in all of that as well. And not to mention also gay women who have always lived their lives as women and who simply want to meet and date other such women instead of transgenders.
