Adidas will start selling some of the shoes from its defunct Yeezy partnership with rapper Kanye West at the end of May, the company said on Friday, and plans to donate the proceeds to selected organizations combating racism and hate.
The news fleshes out plans initially outlined last week and follows Adidas’ move to cut ties with West over anti-Semitic comments made last year, leaving the German sporting goods maker with Yeezy brand shoes worth 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion).
The initial sale of some of the shoes marks the first time the products have been available to customers since Adidas terminated the partnership in October 2022.

Whatever one might think about Kanye, he has a talent for designing shoes for his customers. Not everybody can do that.
Good. Good for Adidas. Their market is worldwide too. Not like they are huge here anyway, it may even boost sales for them here.

I’m not his target audience. I have one pair of hiking trail shows that have outlasted, and still look pretty decent, than the equivalent amount, pricewise, of runners from Walmart.
I have and they are quite nice on the feel actually, but not of you want to use them as running shoes because insole doesn’t past under heavy use.
