Emmitt Till was murdered not lynched. There was no mob, just two men. Roy Bryant and J. W. Milam murdered Emmitt Till after young Till insulted Bryant’s wife.
FYI both Milam & Bryant were acquitted by a jury of their peers. Miscarriage of justice? Probably, but not a lynching
