Montana has officially become the first U.S. state to ban TikTok after Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte signed the bill into law on Wednesday. The law is set to take effect in January 2024 and is likely to be challenged.
"To protect Montanans' personal and private data from the Chinese Communist Party, I have banned TikTok in Montana," wrote Gianforte on Twitter.

Expect a lot of teen suicides when it takes place.
Expect a lot of adults also, that's there drug.
The law is unlikely to stand if challenged; and impossible to enforce. But what the heck. The country has gone insane anyway.
Stupid.
Facebook, Amazon, Zuckerberg and all his creepy pals are still free to suck in all of their personal information.
Also known as the “Save Zuckerberg and CIA by forcing people back to crappy Instagram and Facebook act”.
This won’t sit well with the woke Missoula crowd.
When in doubt side with the Chinese Communist Party.
