“The motion further asserts that the requested records in the lawsuits may contain sensitive information owned by the school, such as facility schematics and confidential data of employees and students.”

As if confidential and personal data has never before been redacted in documents released to the public. It’s interesting that the school itself is objecting to the release. You would think that they would want the information released so that other schools would know what they are potentially facing, what to look for to identify threats, and possible steps to take to prevent it from happening at their own schools. I suspect the school had a visit from the FBI in which they were advised that it was in the school’s best interest to get on board with objecting to the release. “Nice school you have here. It would be a shame if it had to be shut down due to violations of a), b), and c)”.

Without a doubt the school was visited by the FBI.
