The media and democrats only care when it’s whites and cops killing blacks. So, no harm.
I haven’t read an article with the word Chicago in the title for a long, long time. The reason is they seldom change, and Chicago is essentially a foreign land. The authors always portray the dead in Chicago like they were middle class white people to generate sympathy and readership.
Dig into the articles and the victims are almost always a subclass of blacks living in and amongst crime that they are a part of, either as perpetrator or victim. I watched an interview of a woman who had lost her (third, fourth, fifth?) son to a drive by shooting and wanted to scream, “move away!” However, this is the only life she knows. She was born to it and will die there. The wider white, middle-class readership doesn’t care about the murders because they are a self-inflicted disaster and that disaster remains among the same neighbors who are, effectively, living in a foreign country far distant from the rest of Chicago.
All new gun laws should be first tried in Chicago to see if they are effective?
