Trump entered the WH with compete control of Congress. I guess here’s where you say that the Florida legislature doesn’t have RINOs.

Trump never had complete control of Congress. Besides the fact that the GOP caucuses in the House and Senate are dominated by RINO’s, Trump, unlike DeSantis, never had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate - a big handicap.

As far as RINO’s in the Florida legislature? Absolutely. I’m sure there are more than a few. The difference is that their agenda is to make DeSantis look good - to make him look like something he’s not. The RINO’s Trump had to deal with worked to undermine him.

You’re undercutting your own argument by acknowledging that Florida has RINO’s. Why have they cooperated with DeSantis? He’s never had to square off with them to any significant degree. Why is that? Do RINO’s in Florida somehow care about all the right things while the RINO’s in DC don’t?

What you don’t understand is that RINO’s have no beliefs of their own. They stand for whatever their consultants and donors tell them to stand for. If they’re told to cooperate with a young Governor like DeSantis in order to build up his conservative credentials, that’s what they’ll do. If they’re told to obstruct a President who’s trying to dismantle the Uniparty stranglehold on our government, then they’ll do that.
